TERMS OF SERVICE

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
1.1 Agreement
By accessing or using the Yamazaki Clan website, Discord server, Roblox group, or any associated services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify members of material changes via Discord announcements.
1.3 Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, in compliance with COPPA and Discord/Roblox Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental permission.
CLAN MEMBERSHIP
2.1 Application Process
Membership requires submitting a petition through our official application system. The Council of Elders reviews all applications. Acceptance is at their sole discretion.
2.2 Trial Period
All new members enter a 14-day probationary period as "Ronin". During this time, you must demonstrate alignment with our Four Pillars: Honor, Loyalty, Discipline, Strength. Failure to complete trial results in removal.
2.3 Rank Progression
Ranks are earned through Honor Points (HP) gained from clan activities. The seven tiers are: Genin, Chūnin, Jōnin, Tokubetsu Jōnin, Kage, Daimyō, and Clan Master. Requirements are detailed in the Rank System.
2.4 Dual Clan Membership
Yamazaki Clan does not permit membership in competing Gakuran clans. Violation results in immediate expulsion and permanent blacklist.
CODE OF CONDUCT
3.1 The Four Pillars
All members must uphold: HONOR (integrity in all actions), LOYALTY (dedication to clan above self), DISCIPLINE (self-control and obedience), STRENGTH (continuous improvement).
3.2 Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly forbidden: toxicity/harassment, cheating/exploiting, leaking clan intel, insubordination, poaching members, bringing drama, real-world threats, hate speech, NSFW content, spam.
3.3 Discord Conduct
Follow Discord TOS and our server rules. No ping abuse, channel misuse, voice chat disruption, or unauthorized recordings. Use appropriate channels.
3.4 Roblox Conduct
Follow Roblox TOS. No exploiting, glitch abuse, or behavior reflecting poorly on the clan. Represent Yamazaki with honor in all games.
DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
4.1 Warning System
Minor infractions: Verbal warning → Written warning → Rank demotion → Temporary suspension → Permanent expulsion. Severe violations skip to expulsion.
4.2 Appeal Process
Expelled members may appeal once after 30 days via DM to the Clan Master. Appeals require evidence of changed behavior and endorsement from two current Jōnin+. Council decision is final.
4.3 Immediate Expulsion
Zero tolerance for: real-world threats, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, hacking clan assets, betrayal during war, RMT (real money trading) of clan positions.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Clan Assets
All clan logos, emblems, uniforms, lore, rank names, and branding ("Clan Assets") are intellectual property of Yamazaki Clan. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
5.2 Member Content
Content you create for the clan (guides, art, videos) grants us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and modify for clan purposes. You retain ownership.
5.3 Third-Party IP
Yamazaki Clan is a fan community for Roblox. We claim no ownership over Roblox, Gakuran, or associated trademarks. All rights belong to their respective owners.
PRIVACY & DATA
6.1 Data Collection
We collect: Roblox username, Discord ID, application responses, Honor Point activity, rank history. We do NOT collect: passwords, emails (unless provided), payment info, location data.
6.2 Data Usage
Data is used for: membership management, rank tracking, event coordination, security, communication. Never sold or shared with third parties except Discord/Roblox for verification.
6.3 Data Retention
Active member data retained indefinitely. Expelled member data purged after 1 year unless legally required. You may request data deletion per our Privacy Policy.
SERVICE AVAILABILITY
7.1 No Guarantees
Services provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uptime, Discord/Roblox availability, or specific rank progression timelines.
7.2 Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance announced 24h in advance. Emergency maintenance without notice. Clan wars/events may be rescheduled.
7.3 Termination
We may terminate Services at any time. Members will receive 30 days notice via Discord. No refunds or compensation for discontinued services.
LIABILITY & DISPUTES
8.1 Limitation of Liability
Yamazaki Clan and leadership are not liable for: indirect damages, loss of Roblox account, Discord account actions, emotional distress, or third-party actions.
8.2 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Yamazaki Clan from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
8.3 Governing Law
These Terms governed by laws of Japan (clan thematic jurisdiction) / your local jurisdiction for legal purposes. Disputes resolved via binding arbitration.
GENERAL
9.1 Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
9.2 No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
9.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Code of Conduct constitute the entire agreement.
